Rodrigo Burotto is an international musician with tireless love for what he does. After starting in the 90s as a classical guitar player out of Santiago, Chile, Rodrigo has been involved in a lot of different projects, going through styles as diverse as Funk, Rock and Roll, Metal, Rap, Progressive Metal and Hip-Hop.

Normally, he gravitates to instrumental music, but throws a scream or two in front of the mic from time to time too. Rodrigo, who regularly does guitar clinics and performs live, has also composed and produced music for TV and theater.

As a confessed gearhead, he creates a lot of content regarding equipment reviews and comparisons for different magazines and Youtube channels, including his own. Besides being a Basso Straps artist, he works closely with Sully Guitars (USA), Santo Angelo Cables (Brazil), Headrush (USA), Nobels Pedals (Germany) and DR Strings (USA).

“I love forging alliances with companies and manufacturers that put the focus on people and their craft, Basso Straps fits right within those parameters. I have been using their straps since 2011, so having the honor to become one of their official artists feels like going full circle. Even my daughter Isabella has been using an old pink strap I got for her back in 2012”
